Our sugar paste is made of just three simple ingredients: sugar, lemon juice, and water. There’s nothing inorganic in the sugar paste. It tastes like a citrusy cotton candy and it’s edible. Unlike waxing, the esthetician applies the sugar against the natural direction of the hair growth and then uses a gentle flicking motion to remove the paste, and the hair. It is often found to be more gentle, less irritating, and longer lasting than waxing. Sugaring can remove shorter hair compared to regular waxing. Sugar Paste “melts” on the skin and is able to get inside the follicles, which allows it to grab the hair from the inside. So, our clients don’t have to “grow it out”.
