Muhammed Sherid, MD, is dual board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology, and internal medicine. After graduating from Damascus University, Damascus, Dr Sherid went on to complete the residency in internal medicine at Saint Francis Hospital, Evanston, IL, as well as his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Augusta University, Augusta, GA. He was granted Certificate of Academic Excellence from North Suburban awards in three consecutive years during his residency for his excellent performance as a resident, and was also granted Certificate of Achievement for Best Chief Follow Performance 2016-2017 award at Augusta University.
