Dr. Ahmed is board certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine and brings over 25 years of experience caring for patients with a variety of Gastrointestinal Illnesses and has served as the division chief of gastroenterology. He prides himself on being a highly trained, skilled, and compassionate physician. He has interests in all aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology including, but not limited to, inflammatory bowel disease, acid diseases of the esophagus, peptic ulcer disease, small intestinal disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, biliary diseases, colon cancer, anorectal diseases, and disorders of the pancreas and liver.
